Carvolution has set itself the mission of revolutionizing mobility. The idea behind is simple: to use technology to offer mobility solutions that are individually tailored to customers. The entire process is digital, from ordering to administration and return. Only the vehicle has to be physically moved.
The business model therefore requires a strong IT infrastructure, which is why the Carvolution team chose devedis in its search for a powerful and long-term software partner.
The Carvolution app: a digital hub for vehicle subscribers
In an initial phase, devedis developed the mobile app for the innovative vehicle platform for iOS and Android. The app offers subscribers a full overview and control of their vehicles, subscriptions, invoices and much more at all times and also serves as a communication channel for Carvolution.
A digital step forward: the Angular-based Carvolution platform
Once the mobile app was developed, we started developing the web platform based on Angular and Craft CMS. This also automated the entire ordering process and integrated it with the internal vehicle fleet management software. The web platform is therefore another essential step in their vision to offer customers the best possible digital service and establish themselves as a leading technology company in the industry.
We are currently supporting and advising the internal development department in the ongoing expansion of the platform and its peripheral systems. This gives Carvolution the IT flexibility and performance they need as one of the fastest growing start-ups in Switzerland.
