Selfservice app for Smoothie Bar

Starting position

The concept is simple: Create individual smoothies and mix them yourself. The self-service bars are located at multiple locations in Switzerland and need to be regularly maintained, ingredients refilled, and the bar cleaned.

To digitize this versatile process and provide a great experience for smoothie lovers, the Tankbar team approached us. We have taken on this exciting project and developed both a first version of the mobile app and the admin portal.

Self-service app: Many functionalities, few clicks

Users can gradually put together personalized smoothies, pay via the app, and save their data for future purchases. QR codes allow for location selection, the shopping cart allows for multiple orders at once, and inventory levels and cleaning status can be managed directly by the Tankbar team.

Real-time sales and revenue statistics

The admin portal allows for centralized management of all locations, articles, sales, and customers. It provides a clear dashboard for sales and revenue statistics, allows for the creation and editing of articles, real-time monitoring of inventory levels, displays detailed sales data, supports location management, and provides insights into customer data and purchasing behavior.

Result

Smoothie lovers should be able to quickly and easily create a personalized smoothie and pay for it in the app - a smooth user experience. We have made sure to minimize the number of clicks, so that creating a smoothie can happen quickly. Additionally, with the admin portal, the customer now has the ability to view revenue, sales, and customer data at any time.
