New media platform: Seamless precaching and push notifications for lightning-fast content access and real-time updates.

Today's investment universe is becoming increasingly volatile and opaque. It is therefore becoming increasingly difficult for professional decision makers, such as asset managers and asset managers, to make optimised and profitable decisions. This is where invest.ch comes in. They have made it their mission to turn over every brick in the plant jungle so that their customers don't overlook anything. And they share the insights they've gained in daily videos and articles so their customers lose less and gain more.

The need for a new platform

However, as the platform, which was put into operation in 2011, no longer met invest.ch's needs and the smallest changes had already entailed a great deal of effort and therefore also costs, the service provider decided to have a new portal developed for its customers.

Development of the customer portal as a PWA

The software developer selection process was also approached with the same care and accuracy with which invest.ch usually checks investments. After evaluating a number of partners, devedis was finally chosen. One of the decisive reasons was the cutting-edge setup, such as the technologies, frameworks or CMS used.

The platform was developed in an agile way to immediately identify any errors and to easily integrate new customer wishes and ideas. As a result, the state of development was always visible to invest.ch and progress could be seen. After six months, the platform was completed and released smoothly on Google Cloud.

Innovative features and lightning-fast loading times: invest.ch sets new standards

The portal is constantly being expanded and optimized. Iterative and agile development allows invest.ch to be on the market quickly with new features and then receive valuable customer feedback as quickly as possible. The further development of the media platform is therefore entirely in the interests of invest.ch's customers at all times.

In addition, loading times between individual pages were eliminated as much as possible - thanks to PWA and intelligent caching. The content of the next pages is preloaded and then displayed immediately as soon as the user clicks. This improves the user experience, as the usual waiting times are almost completely eliminated. Craft CMS optimally supports invest.ch's processes because, in contrast to conventional systems, it adapts flexibly to the content. And since the content is available in a structured way via an API (headless), it can also be easily used by a wide variety of channels. For example, selected articles could also be offered and consumed on other platforms in the future, if desired. Invest.ch therefore remains flexible in further developing its media platform.
