Relaunch SwipBox website
Requirements for the new website
Due to strong growth, the old website was no longer able to meet the new requirements. SwipBox therefore decided to relaunch the website.
The SwipBox team wanted more flexibility in capturing content and a fundamental face lift. Because before the relaunch, the content was statically recorded. So there was no content management system in use and managing the website was very time-consuming.
It was also important to SwipBox that they were involved in the development of the new website and be able to expand the website independently if necessary. SwipBox thus provided us with the design, which was further optimized and implemented in cooperation with us. SwipBox also participated in the development of the front end.
Integrate with Craft CMS
SwipBox chose Craft CMS to relaunch the website. An innovative, modular and flexible content management system. Craft CMS significantly simplifies content entry and website management.
The frontend was developed entirely in line with the headless approach using the Angular frontend framework. Decoupling the front end as a single page application from the backend (CMS) provides more flexibility, enables better performance and an excellent user experience.
To speed up development, we relied on our library of customizable standard components.
Custom CMS highlight features
The design features, among other things, explanations of the pictures. To make these explanations barrier-free, we have developed a text overlay. The text can be placed on the image using X and Y coordinates. The whole thing happens relative to the image size, which ensures responsiveness.
