Efficient barcode scanner app with direct ERP connection

We developed a scanner app to optimize warehouse logistics with direct ERP integration and intuitive design.
Bucherer AG has been one of the most traditional companies in the watch and jewelry industry for over 130 years. With over 2,400 employees, Bucherer is represented at more than 34 selected locations in Europe. Bucherer also expanded into the USA with the acquisition of luxury watch retailer Tourneau at the beginning of 2018. Strong growth and global sales always pose new challenges for logistics as well. Bucherer was therefore looking for a competent IT partner.

Bucherer's new barcode scanner app

We developed an application for all barcode scanners used by Bucherer AG to provide the best possible support for logistics. As a result, the processes mapped in the ERP can be easily implemented. Compared to the previous solution, the system has a direct connection to the ERP and therefore does not require any intermediate modules.

Increasing efficiency in logistics

This system architecture not only reduces development and maintenance costs, but also increases performance at the same time. In addition, an intuitive user interface for the application was designed and developed to keep the necessary retraining and familiarization costs for the new system as low as possible.
